The Singapore Section of the Combustion Institute (SSCI) welcomes all researchers, engineers, students, and professionals with an interest in the field of combustion. By becoming a member, you join a vibrant community dedicated to advancing combustion science and technology in Singapore and beyond.

Membership Benefits

A member whose subscription is paid up to date shall be entitled to:

• Receive publications of the Society.
• Vote at all General Meetings of the Society.
• Participate in all other activities of the Society.
• Be part of a network of leading experts in combustion from academia and industry.
• Receive discounts on registration fees for conferences and workshops organized by the SSCI.
• Gain access to exclusive resources for news and opportunities in the combustion community.

Membership Fees and Period

To attract more people to join the Section, membership for the year 2026 is waived!

The annual membership subscription is valid from 1st January of each year. There is no entrance fee.

• Regular Member: SGD 30
• Student/Retired Member: SGD 15
• Reduced subscription is available for retired members and bona fide full-time students registered with any university in Singapore.

How to Apply

1. Download the membership application form: SSCI_Membership_Form.pdf
2. Complete and sign the form.
3. Please send a scanned copy of the signed form to Secretary, SSCI. Contact details can be found on our Contact page.
4. For new members, the annual subscription is payable within thirty (30) days of the approval of your membership.
